1. Five Major Exhibitions To Happen at The Louvre Abu Dhabi

This year, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is all set to host a series of exciting exhibitions. The museum will showcase five major exhibitions over the course of a few months. These include Picturing the Cosmos, Letters of Light, Cartier, Islamic Inspiration and Modern Design, Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Here 2023, and Fables from East and West: from Kalila wa Dimna to the Fables of La Fontaine.

2. Emirates A6-ENV Headed For Amsterdam Is The First Aircraft To Boasts The New Livery!

Emirates took to Twitter to disclose the brand-new livery that their A6-ENV flight. This aircraft is headed to Amsterdam, as it is the first 777 aircraft to boast the new livery that was unveiled a few weeks ago by the airline. As it happens, the flight will land at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

4. Dubai RTA Announces Testing Services On All Days

In a recent tweet sent out by the Dubai Road’s & Transport Authority, it was mentioned that car testing services will now be permanently open. This means people can get these services even on Sunday. This step follows after a successful test run for two months in Ras Al Khaimah.

5. Sultan Al Neyadi Becomes First Person To Practise Jiu-Jitsu In Space

Sultan Al Neyadi is keeping all of us updated with his Twitter posts. From fascinating experiments to awe-inspiring pictures of the UAE taken from the International Space Centre, it’s a treat. And now, he has become the first person to practise Jiu-Jitsu in space. Yes, in a recent Tweet by him, he mentions how practising this helps him in microgravity as well!

6. Dubai Food Festival Comes To An End This Weekend

The ongoing Dubai Food Festival is coming to a conclusion on May 7. So, if you still haven’t checked it out, now is the time to do so! 7. SAUDIA Announces Flash Sale For 48 Hours Upto 60% For Select Destinations!

If you’re thinking of travelling this summer, then now is the time to book your tickets as SAUDIA is offering a flash sale. Yes, offering a discount of up to 60%, the airlines announced this deal on the routes of Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Doha, Muscat, Madrid, Mauritius, Guang Zao, and Maldives. It’s worth noting that this offer is valid only for 48 hours, and on the routes between the dates May 10 and June 15.

8. Flydubai Announces Flights Poznan, Poland

flydubai is a Dubai-based carrier that has announced the launch of flights to Poznan in Poland. Starting on October 29, the airline is going to operate three times a week. It’s worth mentioning that this will expand the airline’s network in Poland to three destinations. These also include Krakow and the capital, Warsaw.

9. Saudi Visa Issuance Process Becomes Digital

It was announced on Thursday, May 4 that Saudi Arabia has scrapped visa stickers for e-visas instead. This is valid for its mission in seven countries, which include UAE, India, Jordan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the Philippines. This means instead of the stickers there is a QR Code which is scanned to read the necessary data!

10. Take Additional Weekly Flights To Beirut & Cochin From Abu Dhabi International Airport

In a Tweet posted by the Abu Dhabi International Airport on May 5, it was revealed that additional flights will serve on Cochin and Beirut routes. These include four weekly flights to Beirut and 14 weekly flights to Cochin with Air Arabia, directly from the airport. So, if you’re planning a trip, make sure to keep this in mind.
