The project Green Riyadh is underway in the Al-Nakheel neighbourhood wherein trees will be planted near four schools, 30 mosques, 14 parking lots, and along 52 km of roads. As it happens, these trees and shrubs are of varied species, such as acacia, desert oak & salt wattle, and Balanites aegyptiaca or Egyptian balsam.

2. DXB Welcomes TUS Airways’ Inaugural Flight From Larnaca

TUS Airways, which is the leading and largest airline in Cyprus began its first flight from Dubai International on Sunday 1st October 2023. The new service is between Larnaca and Dubai and it marks an important milestone! This airline operates flights between Larnaca and DXB’s Terminal 1 twice per week. Yes, the flights ply on Thursdays and Sundays, with fares that offer the best value in the market.

3. Saudi Arabia Announces Ambitious Bid To Host 2034 FIFA Men’s Football World Cup

Recently the Kindom of Saudi Arabia raised a bid to host the the 2034 FIFA. This development comes after an invitation was extended to Asia and Oceania regions, so that they can submit their bids. And this is hardly surprising, as the nation is no stranger to the game and international tournaments!

4. Etihad Airways To Stop Flights To Dhaka, Bangladesh From Oct 29th

It was recently revealed that Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways will cease operations to Dhaka, Bangladesh. These operations will stop on October 29! Presently, this airline operates Dhaka-Abu Dhabi-Dhaka once a day. For this, they are using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner!

5. LA’s Famous Dave’s Hot Chicken Is Now Open In Dubai Mall

On October 5, Thursday, Dave’s Hot Chicken, which is a famous street food in LA opened its third outlet in Dubai Mall. A Drake-backed restaurant, this is a highly famous fried chicken brand. Their succulent tenders and delicious sliders along with crinkle-cut fries and Dave’s secret sauce, are certainly a must-have when you visit this restaurant.
