This year, our editor-in-chief, Kamiya Jani, hosted some amazing Sunday brunches for some extremely talented people from the entertainment industry. She also visited some lovely gullies with celebrities and covered some incredible real-life stories. So, fasten your seatbelts as we take you on a trip down memory lane of videos from 2023 that all you fans loved watching!

1. Exploring Amritsar With Kapil Sharma

In this episode of ‘Tere Gully Mein’, our editor-in-chief, Kamiya Jani, met comedian and actor Kapil Sharma and explored the gullies of Amritsar. Kamiya and Kapil went into a food coma in Amritsar, from overindulging in buttery Amritsari Kulchas at Kartar’s Pehalwan Kulcha to gorging on some heavenly Amritsari Kulfi at A-One Kulfa. He talked to us about a variety of topics, including his early years, his difficult upbringing, his fight with depression, and more. 

2. Exploring Seven Bungalows, Andheri With Honey Singh

This episode featured famous rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh and our host, Arohi Thatte, strolling through the streets of Seven Bungalows, Andheri. There was a lot of discussion about food, but he also opened up about his issues with depression and how they affected both his personal and professional lives. He also talked about his rise to stardom in the music business.

3. Lohri Special Sunday Brunch With @SUGARCosmetics Ft. Rakul Preet

Rakul Preet Singh, the Bollywood patakha kuddi, and Kamiya Jani celebrated Lohri on this Sunday brunch with the @SUGARCosmetics episode. There were a tonne of Lohri games, delicious Punjabi food, and bhangra during the celebration. She certainly passed them all, establishing her status as a genuine Punjabi Kuddi. 

4. Exploring Dongri With Munawar Faruqui

This week on Tere Gully Mein, our host Arohi Thatte went on a musical and comedic adventure through the gullies of Dongri with Munawar Faruqui, who managed to get from Dongri to everywhere because of his talent. He took us to Shalimar, his favourite restaurant, and introduced us to Chilly Chicken with Roti. He talked about his experiences in Mumbai and his early recollections of Junagadh. 

5. 21-Yr Old Girl Becomes Pani-Puri Wali Earns 30K A Day 

In this episode of Stories From Bharat, we came across the story of a 21-year-old girl, Taapsi Upadhyay. Tapsi, who successfully launched her own start-up after pursuing an engineering degree, has been making waves online with her Paanipuri cart. These panipuris are air-fried and created with homemade ingredients, unlike your typical panipuri.

Sachin Tendulkar’s 50th birthday was celebrated on Sunday Brunch’s 100th edition. Kamiya Jani enjoyed some delectable meals with the icon himself in this historic episode. They relished the desi Chinese at Chef’s Platter and the Pocket Kulcha with Chole at Pet ki Baat. He talked to us on a variety of topics, including his new book, his amazing journey, his childhood memories, and his New York restaurant business.
