Global warming is causing us to experience unusual weather at unexpected times. Well, adding to the unusualness of the weather, here is a new report from the IMD (India Meteorological Department). Some states in India are soon going to experience December rain, thanks to a cyclonic storm. It is expected that on December 7, a cyclonic storm might intensify and hit the Indian coast.

Take Precautions As December Rain Is Here

As it moves west northwestward, the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is gradually condensing into a depression. It might intensify tomorrow, on December 7, moving in the same direction gradually. The storm could intensify into a cyclonic storm and reach the southwest Bay of Bengal off the coasts of north Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

On the next morning, the same might intensify further and reach Andhra Pradesh’s south coast as well. The already continuing movement westward and northwestward will move towards the south. Because of this, many states are likely to receive heavy December rains for the next few days.
