Delhi Airport Gets A Newly Constructed T1 Terminal Functional From This Month

Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) has got a newly constructed T1 terminal that shall be operational from February 24. Spanning 8000 square metres, with four new baggage claim carousels, this new terminal promises to make the travel experience hassle-free for passengers. An IndiGo flight arriving in Delhi from Goa will be the first to inaugurate the new terminal T1. Read on to know more.

T1 Terminal  At Delhi’s IGI Airport To Enhance Passenger Experience

According to the CNBC TV18 report,  GMR Group-led consortium has built the T1 terminal in Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. This terminal, operational from February 24 shall make the flying experience more convenient for domestic air passengers. Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) revealed to Business Standard that the new terminal shall enhance passenger experience with infrastructural facilities that are safe, secure and sustainable.

New Terminal To Have Retails Shops, F&B Outlets, Spacious Parking Space & More
