1. Indian Coffee House
This is not a café, it’s a landmark. It’s been standing tall since 1940. The menu is reminiscent of simpler times. Their furniture has scratches from good times gone by. The terrace is perfect for morning meetings or just reading by yourself into the night. We do have one warning, beware of monkeys!

2. Sakley’s The Music and Mountain Café
They have the best chocolate wine concoction we have ever known. Every winter they serve this delight to freezing walk ins. Their décor screams winter café, their dim lit walls will cozy you up. It is without a doubt the among best winter cafés in Delhi and has been famous for the same for a long time.

3. Rose Café
One of the best winter cafés, it’s done up beautifully with a sweet feel to it. Their food is great and the stock up games for customers. They have great teas whose aroma will fill your soul. Not that you need any more soothing smells than the ones their flower décor exude.

4. Sam’s
This small little grounded café in the nooks of Paharganj overlooks skyscrapers. It’s home to travelers and creatives. Smoke and sip is the winter policy here. It’s a great place to mingle with interesting people and get out of you comfort zone in the most soothing place ever.

5. Busan
Korean food is perfect in the winter. Their tables are set beside ceiling high windowpanes with sunshine storming in all day. The Korean style seating lets your feet cuddle in secrecy. It’s also a great excuse to visit Delhi’s little Tibet in the best season at one of the best winter cafes.

6. Triveni Terrace Café
This is one of Delhi’s crown jewels and best winter cafes. You’re welcomed by a great garden and elevated steps, a perfect place for post meal chilling. The ceilings are covered in plant hangings and the people are chirpy. The feel is unique, as is the crowd. It’s a great place to surround yourself with creative minds from different fields.

7. Coast Café
Above Ogaan, this place is all luxury. They serve spicy Kerala for a winter stomach with a side of sangria. The French windows making way for sunlight to peer in for a warm winter day; and serve soothing sunsets that transport you to coastline cravings. This is relatively newly established and yet one of the best winter cafes.

8. Café Lota
This tops our list of the best winter cafes in Delhi. It’s set inside a museum which often has folk performances. The food here is winter-perfect and forever new. The place is covered in trees and they have valet! Their breakfast menu serves raagi pancakes. They’re the best things our tongues have ever had the pleasure of tasting.

9. Lodi – The Garden Restaurant
They have a massive space with so many different kinds of seating, we lost count. This winter café’s outdoor space is so big and beautiful you can’t let the summer heat destroy it. Their pesto is fresh and one of the best in town. They even sell condiments made in house which are quite good. After having tried all the mulled wine in the city, we can tell you with certainty, they have the best one!

10. Ivy & Bean
Their music playlist is for the warm hearted and winter chilling. Their green space makes them one of the best winter cafes. Hidden in the criss cross lanes of Shahpur Jat, this gem rose to fame a few years ago. They have a great coffee machine and walls covered in books for the perfect winter solo time.
