The Dubai calendar is constantly filled with exciting events across different boards to keep people in the emirate entertained. And now, it’s launching the inaugural Dhai Dubai Light Art Festival at Expo City Dubai. Happening in January, this is going to be the first Emirati-led art festival and will feature works by some of the top talents from the country.

Starting on January 26, the Dhai Dubai Light Art Festival that is happening at Expo City Dubai will go on till February 4. The inaugural event will feature several immersive experiences, which include workshops, activities, and even talk shows. In fact, during the light festival, the Wasl Plaza is bound to attract visitors, as it will feature Sisters of the Desert Light projection. In fact, more than 200 artworks by the Late Dhabia Juma Lamlah will be projected on the dome. This will in turn showcase her story and memories of the city’s desertscape and sea.

Happening for the first time in January 2024, this awe-inspiring event is family-friendly and is also an innovative experience. As it happens, works by seven of the top talents from the nation will be featured in the event. These feature talented names, including Maitha Hamdan, Khalid Al Shafar, Mattar Bin Lahej, Abdalla Almulla, Dr Najat Makki, Dr Mohamed Yousif, and Reem Al Ghaith. Coming back to the educational talks and workshops, there are several deep discussions planned around the theme of art and culture. Not to mention, if your little ones also tag along, they can unleash their creativity through activities that have been carefully curated for them.
