A bite of delicious kulfi in the summer season satisfies our souls in the best way possible. The rich taste of milk, saffron, and loads of deliciousness is a treat for the taste buds. And you can enjoy the true essence of these kulfi ice creams here at this village in Murshidabad. Known as Kulfi Village, the families living here are the magicians behind preparing the most delectable sweet delights. According to a report by News 18, this place was previously known as Dohalia Daspara. As years went by and the popularity of the residents’ art of making kulfi started increasing, the village got its new name “Kulfi Village”.

Story Of The Village & Its People

About 25 families are residents of this famous village and they are all engaged in making these frozen delicacies. The News 18 report states how many young people in this village are involved in the craft of making these refreshing and tempting desserts. They start working very early in the morning and wrap up the process by noon so that these Kulfi ice creams can be dispatched and sold in the afternoon. The village makes more than 100 of these delights every day.
