DIFC Transforms Into A Stunning Sculpture Park With 50 Art Installations

When a colossal sculpture blends into the mix, dynamic natural vistas become even more awe-inspiring. Artists’ larger-than-life fantasies may become a reality in the broad outdoors, free of walls and ceilings. This place in Dubai is for art’s most enthusiastic supporters. In the DIFC, a sculpture park has recently come to light. It’s converting the space around the historic Gate Building into an open-air gallery with 50 art installations.

Cultural Diversity Of Dubai In The Sculpture Park

It’s a historic exhibition commemorating the UAE’s 50th birthday. Hence, fifty sculptures by various artists will convert DIFC into an open-air art gallery. Transforming the DIFC into a sculpture park will shortly shape the emirates’ open-air movements. And this will surely attract a lot of international visitors to participate.

The sculpture park is part of Dubai’s plan to convert the Emirate’s walls and streets into an open-air museum. It’s titled ‘Harmony of Different Voices’. The public can attend the free outdoor art display till June 30.

What To Expect?

Enjoy several artworks by well-known local and worldwide artists. There are artworks on display by some famed Dubai galleries. Leila Heller Gallery, Firetti Contemporary, AWC Dubai, and individual artists are on the list.

According to the organisers, the park will promote artists who have contributed to the country’s past, present, and future. The park is free to visit for the public and stretches from the Gate Building to Gate Avenue. Each artwork has a label with information labels that include QR codes. This will allow visitors to discover more about the artworks on display. Also, explore more pieces by the artists.

This isn’t the first time artwork has been displayed in the DIFC’s Gate Building vicinity. Last year’s Art Dubai featured a sculpture park, one of the highlights.
