As someone who is quoted to be a woman of simple needs, as reported by The Print, Droupadi’s favourite dish is the Pakhala Bhaat. The news report also says that she is a strict vegetarian and a follower of the Hindu religion. As for Pakhala Bhaat, Droupadi loves relishing this Odia delicacy. Pakhala is a simple dish made of rice and curd. People love to eat Pakhala to cope with the heat during summers. Also, there are different types of Pakhala Bhaat that Odia folks relish. A few of them are – Saja Pakhala, Dahi Pakhala, Basi Pakhala and Chunkha dia Pakhala.
