Dubai Launches A 3-Day Campaign To Help People With Expired Visas And Other Visa Issues

People who have visas must have faced various issues related to them, like, expiry, overstaying in a country, and so on. Well, in order to help people with such issues, Dubai has launched a three-day campaign. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai announced the campaign.

A 3-Day Campaign To Solve Visa Issues

]The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai will be running this campaign known as ‘A Homeland For All”. The 3-day campaign will be held at the Deira City Center in the land of opportunities. The aim of this campaign is to provide solutions and help all the people who are facing visa issues because of the expiry of their visas or permits. The campaign, which will take place from February 25 to 27, intends to promote adherence to the nation’s immigration and residency regulations.

The GDRFA officials will be on duty at a booth at Centrepoint in Deira City Centre from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day of the campaign. At the stall, assistance will be provided to anyone with visa-related problems, such as those whose permits have expired or who have overstayed them.

All The People Are Assured Help At The Campaign

In an Instagram post on its official account, the directorate has urged people who have visa issues to come to the stalls set up under the campaign. The director of the Client Happiness Department at GDRFA Dubai, Lieutenant Colonel Salem bin Ali, advised people to visit the place without any hesitation. He also assured that all the people will be assisted without considering the period they have overstayed their visa.

In the UAE, the expense of overstaying the allotted visa time draws a fee of Dh50 per day. This also applies to visa cancellations, which can often result in huge fees. The GDRFA claims that this initiative will give UAE residents the chance to resolve any visa-related problems.
