Dubai salaries ranked among highest in the world, a study conducted by Deutsche Bank reveals. Who’s cribbing about low pay?

Salaries in Dubai are ranked among the highest in the world, a recent report by Deutsche Bank reveals! So, think twice before you crib about your pay cheque.

The study involved more than 50 cities in the world, and Dubai ranked 14th in the report. Going by the report, the average monthly salary of in Dubai amounts to AED 10,500. San Fransisco in the United States, bagged the top spot, with an average monthly salary of USD 6,526 (around AED 24,000). Following San Fransisco was Zurich, New York City, Boston and Chicago.

Dubai also ranked 17th in the Qality of Life Index, another study conducted by Deutsche Bank. Zurich grabbed the first place, followed by Wellington in New Zealand and Copenhagen.

The index is calculated taking into account several factors like crime, safety, consumer goods, retail, rental affordability, healthcare and pollution. Dubai bagged the first spot in the safety index. See the full report here.
