RTA Dubai Announces Delay On Key Roads This Weekend
To #Dubai Roads users: A delay is expected at the intersection of Jumeirah St. & Al Manara Rd due to maintenance work during the weekend, from Sunday, August 13, 12:00 AM midnight, until Monday, August 14, 5:00 AM.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has issued a traffic advisory. They have urged motorists to be alert as an upcoming maintenance project at the intersection of Jumeirah Street and Al Manara Road might delay the commute. The maintenance work is scheduled to occur over the weekend, starting from midnight on Sunday, August 13, until 5:00 AM on Monday, August 14.
During this period, the first and second lanes at the Jumeirah Street and Al Manara Road intersections, in both directions, will be temporarily closed to facilitate the maintenance activities. The RTA has recommended that motorists explore alternative routes and adhere to directional signage to circumvent congestion and potential inconvenience. While acknowledging any disruption, the RTA has expressed gratitude for road users’ cooperation.

Here Are Some Of The Alternative Routes
As viable alternatives, the RTA has proposed routes like Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Wasl Road, Al Khail Road, and Umm Suqeim Street. To ensure a seamless journey, the RTA encourages travellers to proactively plan their trips using smart applications such as RTA Dubai, Wojhati, S’hail, and Dubai Drive, which provide real-time traffic updates and essential information.
This maintenance initiative aligns with the RTA’s commitment to enhancing Dubai’s infrastructure and road network. With a goal of fostering secure, efficient, and interconnected mobility, the RTA’s efforts are in harmony with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Ruler of Dubai.
