Dubai’s Aquaventure Is Now Home To The World’s Tallest Water Slide

Who doesn’t love a good old joyride or some adrenaline rush with their family and friends! Pull out your swim wear and put on those googles. Dubai’s favorite water theme park- Aquaventure has undergone a ‘massive’ makeover and is all set to open doors on 1 March. Adrenaline junkies can enjoy much more at the world’s largest waterpark featuring over 50 rides, restaurants, cafes, beach and much more.

The Park Features 79 Rides, A 1km Beach & Much More

Get set to brave the waters as Trident Tower, Splashers Lagoon and Splashers Cove open doors for some awesome new slides and rides. The venue has expanded by a third and this also means that Aquaventure will now be rated the world’s largest waterpark. The park now boasts 28 brand-new record-breaking waterslides and attraction.

Guests can slide down 12 new slides in Trident Tower, standing at 48m tall. Besides, there are 16 new slides spread across Splashers Lagoon and Splashers’ Cove- forming the largest kids-only waterpark experience in the Middle East. Those who love heights can tackle the world’s tallest waterslide, as well as the longest family water coast of its kind, the tallest vertical drop body slide in the Middle East and the region’s first cliff jumping experience.

With 105 slides, attractions and experiences for all ages and thrill levels, the expansion has increased Atlantis Aquaventure by a third in size to feature 79 rides across three towers, 26 marine and watersport experiences and 26 food and beverage outlets and kiosks across the park. The length of Aquaventure beach is also doubled by 1km.

The centre of attraction come in the form of the three towers, each with a special theme. The Trident Tower is the latest addition. “The expansion is indeed a special addition and which we think has created a product that will really help with the city’s tourism efforts,” said Tim Kelly, Managing Director at Atlantis Dubai.
