What Is It?
A dozen new schools have cropped up in the city, but Fair Green International is Dubai’s first fully sustainable school. In an aim to create a sustainable future for the world, the school’s campus has a design which is the first of its kind in the city. The campus uses solar power for all its energy needs, recycles all its water for agricultural use, and implements waste separation.
Founded by Esol Education, the school offers education from Pre-KG to 12th standard and offers an IB-programme to its students. Graeme Scott, founding director of the school said: “Fairgreen International School has been designed specifically to meet the needs of contemporary learners and to develop articulate, caring, global citizens. Our educational philosophy and practice is founded in robust research, supported by recent findings from educational neuroscience and enveloped within a culture of extraordinary care. Innovation and creativity are non-negotiables, with children encouraged to be courageous and to think differently.”
The school also has after-school programs and weekend sports which include swimming, soccer, gymnastics, and more.
How To Apply
All students who wish to seek admission are required to fill an online application form. Once the school receives the application form, student files are reviewed based on previous years’ academic performance, Fairgreen assessment test results, school confidential reports followed by a personal interview. Pre-KG, KG 1 and KG 2 applicants are required to come in for an interview while Grade 1- Grade 9 applicants who have standardized test scores can submit them and prior to an assessment test at Fairgreen.
Now the best part! The school offers a tuition fees which ranges between AED 50,000 and AED 88,000 for the next three academic years. Here’s the complete fee structure.
