One of the newest additions to the skyline of Dubai, One Za’abeel is a super luxury twin tower that is situated near the Dubai World Trade Centre Roundabout. And now, the newest construction has officially been named the world’s longest cantilevered building by the Guinness World Record. This record was achieved on March 1, which made the building join the long list of record-breaking buildings in Dubai.

Detailed Look Inside The Link

For those who aren’t aware, The Link stretches 230 m in length and dissects the One Za’abeel skyscraper 100 metres above the ground. Not to mention, the record-setting cantilever extends 67.277 metres beyond the main tower. As such, it was completed in two phases over 16 days. Additionally, this was done without any disruption to the four lanes of traffic below the operation that was taking place. While Phase One saw steel structures weighing more than 8500 tonnes being lifted and slotted into the place. Phase two witnessed 900-plus tons of cantilevered structure being lifted into place.

It Has Michelin-Inspired Restaurants

As it happens, the 230 m link features eight Michelin-inspired restaurants and also the longest suspended infinity pool in the UAE. It’s worth mentioning that besides the residences, these two towers also feature the One&Only resort and the first SIRO’ branded fitness and recovery hotel. Not to mention, there are also great office spaces and retail podiums.
