Eligibility Criteria To Apply As First Officer For Emirates

The airline said that it provides many options for first officers to naturally advance in their careers, eventually becoming captains, professional pilots, standards captains, examiners, and instructors.

Applicants for the role must possess at least 2,000 flying hours on aircraft with a 20-tonne MTOW (maximum take-off weight), expertise in flying multi-engine, multi-crew aeroplanes, and a current ICAO Airline Pilot Licence.

Additionally, it recently increased the number of people it serves on flights between Tel Aviv and Dubai.

May saw an acceleration in the recovery of air travel, with total traffic, as defined in passenger traffic kilometres, or RPKs, up 83.1% from May 2021. The International Air Travel Association claims that the strong rebound in international traffic was a major factor in the development (IATA).
