The official airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, has recently introduced the brand-new Abu Dhabi Stopover programme in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi). You can now transform your complimentary hotel stay during a layover into an amazing UAE vacation—a feature unique to Etihad. This is the ideal chance for tourists from all over the world to experience Abu Dhabi and its abundance of breathtaking tourist, cultural, lifestyle, and natural attractions. The initiative was started to promote Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a top tourism destination in the world.
You can choose to include a stopover and receive a complimentary one or two-night hotel stay at some prestigious luxury hotels in the nation’s capital when you purchase flights online with Etihad. Over the upcoming year, Abu Dhabi Stopover hopes to welcome over 100,000 visitors to the capital. This would significantly accelerate the emirate’s deliberate efforts that have elevated it to the status of a top travel destination with a burgeoning array of enjoyable attractions.
It Is The 2nd Most Opulent Tourism Destination
In addition to receiving countless honours, Abu Dhabi was named the second most opulent tourism destination in the world in 2023. The national airline of the United Arab Emirates started flying its powerful A380s to JFK International Airport in New York just two weeks ago. It also said that it will start flying to Charles-de-Gaulle in Paris on November 1.
