All the foodies, gather up! Our latest Tere Gully Mein episode is already live on YouTube, and you definitely don’t want to miss out on it. In this episode, we explored Pune with Sarthak Sachdeva, where we enjoyed delicious misal along the way. In our misal hunt, we also stumbled upon a 116-year-old misal place, Vaidya Upahar Gruha, in Pune that we definitely would like to visit. Read on to know!

Vaidya Upahar Gruha’s Unique Misal In Pune

While exploring the best misal places in Pune with Sarthak Sachdeva, we reached one of the city’s oldest eateries, Vaidya Upahar Gruha. This place is known for its unique green misal, which gets its colour and flavour from a generous amount of green chilli juice. Unlike the usual misal served with pav, this one comes with bread. Stepping into this place felt like going back in time.

While enjoying the misal here, Sarthak said that the food tastes absolutely different compared to other places. This is one of the most unique misal places you’ll find in Pune. You can also try their Kanda Poha, Batat Bhaji, Sukha Sev Chivda and more. Also, the rates are super affordable.

Coriander Kitchen Gives Misal A Premium Touch

Before we started eating misal at Coriander Kitchen, Sarthak said that the luxury touch given to fast food takes away all the excitement. As soon as the dish arrived, we realised it would be our most expensive misal yet. The premium misal featured chevda, pav, gulab jamun and boiled matki.

As soon as we took the first bite, we realised that this misal tasted entirely different from all the others we had tried before. It did not have much oil or spice, making it quite unique. But when the bill arrived, we were shocked. The misal cost ₹800, including taxes. So, if you also love misal, then this Tere Gully Mein episode is especially for you.
