Gault&Millau UAE releases its first restaurant guide for 2022. This is to honour the achievements of this ever-changing and dynamic industry and the people who work in it. The Atlantis The Palm restaurant was announced as the highest-rated in the country. So, let’s check out who’s named the best. 

Gault&Millau’s First Restaurant Of The Year – The Palm Restaurant 

Ossiano at Atlantis, The Palm restaurant came out on top and was named Gault&Millau’s first Restaurant of the Year. Head chef Grégoire Berger was there to accept the prize award. Berger rejoined Ossiano earlier in the year to take the fine dining restaurant, which is famous for being next to Atlantis, The Palm’s Ambassador Lagoon aquarium, to the next level. He is known among Dubai foodies for his unique mix of traditional French cooking and unusual dishes.

The Menu Of the Restaurant Makes It More Special

His 11-course degustation menu is based on memories from his childhood and things he has learned. The dishes are based on real events and feelings. The ocean-themed dishes are made with ingredients from the ocean within 50 km of the coast sustainably.

At the first Gault&Millau UAE gala on June 14 at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Berger was named Chef of the Year. According to Gault&Millau’s edition, Ossiano has the highest rating of any restaurant in the country. It got three toques and was named Restaurant of the Year.
