BEST has recently announced that it will be operating open-deck double-decker heritage tour buses for Diwali. Keep reading to know more.
BEST Heritage Open-Deck Tours
The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) has planned to operate these buses from October 22, every hour from 7:00 am during Diwali. Mumbaikars and tourists can witness both day and night views of the city as per their choice. To know more about these open-deck buses and the tour, you can visit Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Chowk bus depot. You can also obtain all the information about the heritage trips on 1800 227550 and 022-24190117 (toll-free numbers). Interested Mumbaikars and tourists can book the tickets on the Book My Show app as well. The heritage trips for tourists started in November 2021.

Extra Bus Services
Heritage tour trips cover sightseeing spots such as Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, Mantralaya, N.C.P.A., Vidhan Bhawan, Chowpatty, Marine Drive, Churchgate Station Oval Ground, Bombay High Court, Rajabai Tower University of Mumbai, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Hutatma Chowk, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Headquarters, Horniman Circle, Reserve Bank of India, Asiatic Library, and Old Customs House.
During Diwali, the BEST will also run extra bus services between October 22 and October 26. The extra services will be running in Mumbai’s suburbs and prominent routes. There will be about 25 special bus services for the commuters shopping in the crowded areas. The crowded areas include Dadar, Crawford market and others.
