With each day, the excitement in public for Ram Mandir’s inauguration reaches new heights. And we’re here to fuel that excitement. As per the latest updates, the much-talked-about golden doors are up for installation at Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. They installed the first swarn dwar on 9th January and will put the rest in place soon. Read on for more deets.

Golden Door With Intricate, Beautiful Motifs Of Welcoming Elephants

 

Many people on X (formerly Twitter) posted pictures of the newly installed golden door at the Ayodhya’s Ram Temple. This 12-foot high and 8-foot wide golden door was installed at the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. As per reports, 13 such doors, in total, will be installed in the temple premises. The remaining 12 are likely to be installed over the next three days.

In the pictures, the golden door shines brightly amid the beautifully designed sandstone walls. Upon closer look, you can see the swarn dwar designed with welcoming elephants and palace-like designs on the upper part with gatekeepers on each side. The lower part of the door divides into four squares, each boasting intricate artwork. All in all, these doors are pieces of artwork that will leave you mesmerised with their detailing.

Work In Full Swing To Complete Construction Before Prana Pratishtha

 

The inaugural date of the temple – 22nd January – is approaching, and the construction work is also happening in full swing. The latest posts by Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth on its social media show people working day and night to complete the temple construction before the Prana Pratishtha.

They have also shared timely work progress and other main highlights of the temple in their posts on Instagram.

This three-storied temple is being constructed in a traditional Nagara style. You can see sculptures of Hanuman ji, Garuda, elephants, and lions at the entrance of the temple. Inside, you will come across exquisite idols of deities and beautifully sculpted pillars and ceilings.

This temple is surely turning into a masterpiece of India’s beautiful art and cultural heritage!
