Many researchers are currently undergoing to detect the exact reasons behind such massive formation of foam all around. Pollution, waste, and untreated sewage are the major causes driving the destruction of nature. The research was conducted by Centre for Sustainable Technologies and the results are pretty shocking. The test was conducted using the water of Bellandur Lake. Some organic materials of untreated sewage break down without any oxygen around them. Then these get sedimented in the lakes. With this, the surfactant also keeps on getting together with the sediments. This entire cycle repeats with an increase in toxic concentration.
