Alserkal Avenue is one such location of the Emirate that is always changing setups. The recent announcement has updated us that there will be a 9-day festival taking place at this avenue and we can’t hold our horses!

Before you feel all puzzled, the festival taking place at Alserkal Avenue goes by the name, ‘Stay a little Longer’. According to the sources, this festival will commemorate Dubai’s diversity. The venue will be lit up between Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 9 2023. But what can we anticipate at this festival?
Well, the festival has everything an art lover would admire in general. From poetry to screenings, the event will be a vibrant one! There also be gift exchanges and music by a handpan orchestra.

Given that there will be food pop-ups and shared seating spaces, it is certain to be a spot for people to congregate. Free programs will be offered during the late-night development, which runs from 8 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. It will hold emphasise urging visitors to slow down and take some time to learn from the festival.
The lineup with dates:
1. April 1 and April 5- Storytelling series curated by Shereen Saif(dance, theatre, storytelling, performance and installation art)
2. April 4 and April 8- Indian classical performance, poetry & ZigZag Ghanem performance.
3. April 8 and 9- Arabic coffee-making workshop.
