According to Article 16(1) of Cabinet Resolution No. 1 of 2022, it is the employer’s duty to pay workers’ salaries on time in compliance with the Wages Protection System. If the company fails to pay the workers’ salaries on time, MOHRE may take the appropriate legal action against the business. This is in conformity with Cabinet Resolution No. 1 of 2022’s Article 16(2).

As a result, in line with Article 54 of the Employment Law and Article 31 of Cabinet Resolution No. 1 of 2022, if your employer(s) delays in paying your wage, you may file an employment complaint against them via the MOHRE.
