VFS Global is known for being the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions. In a recent development, the Thailand government took the decision to renew its contract with this global company and continue the great relationship. With the continuation of the contract, some new things are also coming up. Here’s all you need to know about the renewal of the contract.

VFS Global Renews Contract With Thai Govt To Process Visa Applications In India

The global company is all set to provide services to tourists from India. The facilities are across different categories of visas and are going to be conducted through visa application and drop-off centres “as per the jurisdiction of the Royal Thai Embassy in Delhi and Royal Thai Consulate General in Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai”. In a press release, VFS Global shared the update on the contract renewal with the Government of Thailand.

The partnership between VFS Global and the Thailand government is continuing for almost 20 years. In this long period of nearly 20 years starting from 2005, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions has completed the visa application process of over 2.2 million Thai visa applicants.

VFS Global is soon going to start rolling out drop box services in many tier 2 cities of India. The company is doing the mandatory procedure in a total of 22 cities in the country. Some of the cities are:

  • Aurangabad
  • Bhopal
  • Coimbatore
  • Indore
  • Mangalore
  • Nagpur
  • Nasik
  • Ranchi
  • Thiruvananthapuram
  • Vijayawada

Right now, the services are already available in many Indian cities such as:

  • Agra
  • Amritsar
  • Bhubaneswar
  • Bihar
  • Dehradun
  • Guwahati
  • Jaipur
  • Jamshedpur
  • Ludhiana
  • Patna
  • Siliguri
  • Visakhapatnam

The latest visa application centre of VFS Global in Lucknow is going to accept visa applications for visas to head to Thailand. 

Prabuddha Sen, the COO of South Asia, VFS Global shared how this renewal “attests to VFS Global’s superior business performance and commitment to improving customer experience”.
