Commencing on a Wednesday evening at the enchanting Nagampadom grounds, the four-day-long festival is organised by the Rubber Town Round Table 121. It is a rendezvous with culinary excellence. The culinary symphony will be orchestrated by leading restauranteurs, visionary bakers, and enterprising entrepreneurs. They will certainly transform Nagampadom into a haven for food enthusiasts.
From January 24 to 28, the festival grounds will host 22 stalls and 28 food corners. The foodies are offered a staggering array of over 300 mouth-watering dishes. It’s not just about the regular fare; the food corners are curated to deliver an eclectic mix of juices, cakes, and snacks that promise to tantalise taste buds.
District Collector V Vigneshwari will inaugurate the event at 6.30 pm on Wednesday, marking the beginning of the festival. Here, you can embark on a global culinary journey with American, Arabic, Chinese, Thai, and Iranian delicacies. But that’s not all! There will also be stalls showcasing regional gems from Kuttanad and Kumarakom.

The venue’s food court is a culinary coliseum, accommodating 1,000 diners at a time. It will truly ensure that no food enthusiast is left unsatiated. As you savour the diverse flavours, worry not about parking; the organisers have also generously arranged free parking facilities at both the Nagampadom ground and the indoor stadium.
For those seeking more than just culinary delights, a dozen vehicle dealers will set up stalls. And the cherry on top? An entry fee of just ₹100 per person makes this culinary fiesta accessible to all.
However, beyond the gastronomic indulgence, the Kottayam Food Fest carries a noble cause at its core. It is not just a celebration of flavours but a fundraiser for the Parechal Round Table School, an institution dedicated to differently-abled children.
