With a fleet of 57 aircraft, Air India Express operates over 300 flights per day. And that too between 30 domestic and 14 foreign destinations. It is a subsidiary of Air India and a member of the Tata Group. Moreover, it includes 29 Boeing 737s and 28 Airbus A320s. Air India Express has recently announced the introduction of a flight service to Dammam from Mumbai and Hyderabad.
Air India Express Announced Introduction Of Flight Service To Dammam
The introduction of daily direct flights between Hyderabad and Dammam, linking Mumbai, is announced by Air India Express. Beginning on January 19, 2024, flights on these routes will be available for booking. You can book it on the airline’s app, official website and other major booking platforms. Fares for these flights start at ₹15,312 (BOM-DMM), ₹16,613 (HYD-DMM), SAR 355 (DMM-BOM), and SAR 505 (DMM-HYD).
Ms. Tara Naidu, VP of International Business at Air India Express, stated that Saudi Arabia represents a swiftly developing market with vast potential and auspicious prospects. They connect Dammam with Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Kochi, Mumbai, Mangalore, and Thiruvananthapuram with 28 weekly direct flights. Their network will be strengthened by the addition of these additional routes.
It will allow us to offer easy one-stop travel from Dammam to locations like Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Gwalior, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ranchi, and Visakhapatnam. In addition, they run nine weekly flights to different locations in India from Jeddah and Riyadh.
Daily direct flights are available from Mumbai to eight locations with Air India Express, including popular ones like Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Dammam, Lucknow, and Sharjah. The airline links Hyderabad with 10 cities in its network, including Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Kochi, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam, and more, with 15 direct flights every day.
Direct Flight On Gwalior-Hyderabad Route
The airline has expanded its route to include Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, offering direct flight options from the city and linking several stations. According to information released by Air India Express, the inaugural flight—which had 155 passengers on board—left Gwalior for Hyderabad Airport at approximately 17:20.
Every passenger on board was given a specifically chosen MasterChef dessert, Sondesh Tiramisu, to add to the joyful atmosphere. The airline further disclosed that interested parties can now reserve a direct ticket from Gwalior to Hyderabad using its official website. Any third-party portal can also be used to make reservations for the same.
Speaking about the recently acquired route, Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, expressed his excitement about growing their presence to Gwalior, becoming their second station in Madhya Pradesh, following the success of establishing links between Indore and Dubai and Sharjah.
Further, he stated that their unwavering commitment to improving the quality of the travel experience is demonstrated by their extensive menu. It includes a variety of mouthwatering Gourmet hot meals, AirFlix, an in-flight entertainment system, and cosy seats that capture the essence of distinctive Indian warmth, all of which are enhanced by the kind and welcoming service of their cabin crew.
Soon, you will be able to fly directly to Dammam from Hyderabad and Mumbai.
