Fully Vaccinated Indians Will Not Have To Quarantine In These 5 Countries

As COVID-19 cases are dipping gradually, several countries are reopening their borders for outsiders. However, to travel to these countries, certain protocols like undergoing RT-PCR tests, wearing masks, etc. are to be followed. But the good news is, Indians can skip quarantine in certain countries now if they are fully inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccines approved by these nations. Here is a list of 5 such countries:

1. Ireland

Ireland has resumed the issuance of short-stay entry visas for Indians. For those who intend to travel, Ireland Visa Application Centres (VAC) in India are now accepting these short-stay applications. Only those who have taken both doses of the Covishield vaccine can apply for entry visas. Also, they do not need to undergo quarantine upon reaching Ireland.

2. Austria

Indians who are vaccinated with both doses of Covishield can skip the mandatory quarantine in Austria upon producing their vaccination certificates.  The accepted vaccines in Austria are BioNtech/Pfizer, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria and Covishield), Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinovac, and Sinopharm. Also, children below 17 years of age travelling with fully vaccinated parents do not need to undergo quarantine after reaching Austria.
