If you have been eagerly waiting for an international trip, you can add one more destination to your list apart from Maldives, Dubai, Serbia, and the likes. Abu Dhabi has opened up for visitors and fully vaccinated passengers will no longer have to quarantine starting September 5. That said, there are other rules in place to travel to Abu Dhabi right now and here’s everything you need to know!

What Are The Testing Requirements To Visit Abu Dhabi?

All passengers must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with the test done within 48 hours prior to departure. All travellers must also undergo an RT-PCR test upon arrival. Passengers arriving from green list countries must undergo another test on day 6 and those arriving from non-green list countries must undergo a test on day 4. What Are The Rules For Unvaccinated Travellers?

Unvaccinated visitors travelling to Abu Dhabi from green list countries must take further PCR tests on days 6 and 9, without the need to quarantine. However, unvaccinated visitors from other destinations must quarantine for 10 days and undergo another RT-PCR test on day 9. The announcement comes as the United Arab Emirates recorded zero Covid-related deaths for the first time since November 14.
