Arrangements for grand celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi have begun already. Devotees are making special preparations to enjoy the festivities with pomp and glory, from huge pandal setups to decorating all around to welcoming idols at the puja area. Mumbai is famous worldwide for its magnificent Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The city’s iconic Lalbagh ka Raja is coming to Delhi NCR. Mumbai’s Lalbagh Ka Raja Is Coming To Delhi NCR

Taking to X, Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee (@DrSanMukherjee) shared a glimpse of Lalbagh ka Raja’s e-darshan.

Many devotees from nationwide travel to Mumbai during this time of the year to experience the energetic essence of Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, have darshan of Lord Ganesha, offer prayers to him, and join the crowd for all the gala celebrations. In 2024, the city’s renowned Lalbagh ka Raja is set to create the ultimate festive mood in Delhi NCR. The Lalbagh ka Raja Trust is ready to celebrate the joy of this festival in Delhi NCR. Delhiites can witness the glory and divine face of the world-famous Lalbagh ka Raja Ganesh statue this year.

A press conference was recently held at the Constitution Club in New Delhi. According to a report by ANI, MP Manoj Tiwari shared the grand news of Lalbagh ka Raja coming to Delhi NCR this Ganesh Chaturthi. He invited people to join the festivities for this glorious occasion. Interestingly, 2024 will not be the first year for worshipping Lalbagh ka Raja in Delhi. The city welcomed Lalbagh ka Raja for the first time in 2015.

From September 7 to 16, Delhi’s DDA Ground will host the splendid Ganesh Mahotsav festival. Just like Mumbai’s iconic Ganesh idol, Delhi will worship the same magnificent idol. Also, the eco-friendly idol is getting prepared at the same place as Mumbai’s Ganesh murti.

More About Festivities In Delhi

  • The Ganesh Mahotsav pandal will be spread over a humongous area of 6,00,000 square feet.
  • With strong wooden floors inside the premises, the pandal can welcome and make room for around 5,00,000 devotees.
  • The venue will also host a lineup of cultural performances.
  • In addition, there will be multiple food stalls serving delicious food.
