Kiyomasa, A Gorilla From Japan Goes Viral For His Expressions

We are all aware of a man’s behaviour and expressions after he gets into an argument with a woman. He broods and overthinks a lot afterwards, right? But did you know that in the gorilla world, the scenario might be similar? A gorilla from Japan’s Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Garden in Nagoya is going viral for the same reason.

In a viral video posted on X by @FLCons, Kiyomasa can be seen sitting quietly after an alleged argument with a female gorilla, believed to be his mate. With his head lowered and seemingly lost in thought, the 13-year-old gorilla appears to be deep in contemplation. The video also shows him brooding with expressions that look surprisingly human-like. His behaviour struck a chord with netizens online, who joked that he was going through the same relationship problems as humans.
