Manohar International Airport Is Now An Authorised Immigration Check Post

The Manohar International Airport (MIA) in Goa is now a recognised immigration checkpoint for the entry of people with e-visas. According to an article by Money Control, the airport grants entry to people with e-visas in an endeavour to offer a streamlined and trouble-free journey for foreign tourists.

E-visas are issued to foreigners travelling to India for leisure, business, medical treatment, or to visit friends and family. Only specified international airports and seaports are able to let people with e-visas into India. International visitors should anticipate a simple entry process now that the MIA’s e-visa system is open. The airport is looking forward to gradually expanding its roster of international carriers.

Goa Airport’s role extends beyond tourism. The terminal is always buzzing with excitement as families, honeymooners, solo explorers, and business professionals converge, creating a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds.

Goa has been a highly popular international tourist destination, known for its pristine beaches, vibrant culture, and historical significance. The state has attracted tourists from all over the world, contributing significantly to its economy and reputation as a global travel hotspot. Goa’s international tourist footfall has been consistently high, particularly during the peak tourist seasons.

The development of the airport is based on a sustainable infrastructure philosophy. The primary goal of the construction of the airport was to promote sustainability. The Mopa Airport features green architecture, LED lighting, rainwater collection, and a solar power plant, among other things.

After Dabolim Airport (GOI), this is Goa’s second international airport, making it simpler to control the yearly rise in tourist traffic.
