With Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 553rd birthday around the corner, India is gearing up to celebrate Gurpurab 2022 after the two-year pandemic break. Just as devotees are ready for the big day, Delhi police are also ready with their latest traffic advisory to ensure that the pomp and show of Guru Nanak Jayanti remain intact! To make travel during the festival hassle-free for commuters in the city, the Delhi traffic police has issued an advisory. They have also made all the required arrangements for the same. Delhi Will See Numerous Devotees During Nagar Kirtan

To prevent traffic jams and ensure hassle-free commuting during the Nagar Kirtan, the Delhi traffic police has issued an advisory asking commuters to avoid several routes on November 7. The Nagar Kirtan procession in Delhi will proceed from Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib via the main Chandni Chowk road, Fatehpuri, Khari Baoli, Chowk Qutab Road, Avanti Bai chowk, Azad market, Roshanara road, Ghanta Ghar, Shakti Nagar Chowk, and conclude at Gurudwara Nanak Piao Sahib (GT Karnal Road).

Apart from this, during Guru Nanak Jayanti, Delhi sees thousands of devotees visiting Gurudwaras. On November 8, devotees will flock to Gurudwaras to pay obeisance to Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

Delhi Police Asks To Avoid These Routes During The Guru Nanak Jayanti 2022

Keeping in mind the celebrations of Guru Nanak Jayanti 2022, the Delhi traffic police have listed the significant gurudwaras in Delhi and have issued a traffic advisory for the public. Traffic restrictions are imposed on the following routes on November 7 – Main Chandni Chowk road, HC Sen Marg, Church Mission Road, SPM Marg, Hare Ram marg, Swami Vivekananda Marg, Qutab Road, Azad market road, Rani Jhansi road, Roshanara Road, GT Karnal road and surrounding routes.
