The Holy month of Ramadan is all set to begin from tomorrow and to ensure that this Ramadan is more about helping those in aid, HH Sheikh Mohammed has launched a new campaign. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign. The campaign aims to provide food for people in need across 20 countries throughout Ramadan.
100 Million Meal Campaign Aims To Provide Support People To Across 20 Countries
The new camapign is an expansion from the 2020s ’10 Million Meals’ campaign that helped Covid-19 hit communities across the UAE. And now the ‘100 Million Meals’ campaign aims to provide support for the vulnerable in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The businessmen, companies and the public from and outside the UAE are welcome to make financial donations to the campaign that would distribute food parcels, sufficient to provide 100 million meals, in – Sudan, Lebanon, Jordan, Pakistan, Angola, Uganda and Egypt.
Donations Can Be Done Online, Via SMS and Call
If you want to do something good this Ramadan, you should be a part of this campaign. Every contribution counts, and even if you donate AED 1, that’s enough too. Speaking about this, HH Sheikh Mohammed said,
“Providing food during the holy month of Ramadan is the best we can give from the UAE to humanity. the COVID-19 pandemic has pushed many populations into economic despair and pushed us, at the same time, to be more compassionate and giving.”
HH Sheikh Mohammed is also urging citizens and people across the world to join this campaign. He said,
“We will work with humanitarian organizations, companies, entities and humanitarians to join us in securing 100 million meals to bring a sense of safety to underserved homes across the world.”
The campaign is part of the UAE’s response to global efforts to combat world hunger, a challenge that’s worsened by the outbreak of COVID-19 that has pushed millions of disadvantaged populations to greater insecurity, poverty and unemployment. It also aims to support the international community in achieving the second of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to end hunger by 2030.
