Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station links the city of Bangalore with all the prime Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Mysore, and Chennai among others. Trains like Kongu Express, Rajdhani Express, Mysore Express are few of the trains that serve the city, connecting Bangalore to other parts of the nation through meter gauge and broad gauge railway services. For travelling within Bangalore, Namma Metro, an intra-city rail network set up by Bangalore Metro Railway Corporation assists in commutation.

Airways To Reach Bangalore

Kempegowda International Airport opened in 2008, spanning over 4700 acres, located 36 km away from Bangalore is one of the best airports in the country and also the 3rd busiest airport in India. It has only one terminal, Terminal 1 that hosts both domestic and international flights. It handles over 20 million passengers every year. The airport is beautifully designed with exquisite duty-free shops and some of the best restaurants and cafes in the country. Bangalore International Aiport is currently developing Terminal 2 which will be designed like Singapore’s Changi Aiport, having indoor gardens and intricate architecture. Buses/Cabs To Reach Bangalore

Bangalore has excellent road connectivity thanks to the wide network of state and private buses. Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) connects the city to various places in Karnataka. There are air-conditioned, Volvo sleeper buses that connect Bangalore to cities like Goa, Mumbai, Pune, Coimbatore, and Chennai to name a few. Travellers can choose luxury buses, state transport buses or air-conditioned coaches based on their preferences. Majestic station is one of the main bus stations where travellers can commute. Those who wish to drive to Goa from Bangalore can take NH4 and NH63 that connect these cities in about 11 to 12-hour drive.
