Here are the ingredients:

  • Moong dal- 1 cup
  • Chana dal- 1 cup
  • Samak rice- 1 cup
  • Boiled potatoes- 2
  • Green chillies- 2
  • Handful of curry leaves
  • Hing- 1 tsp
  • Ajwain- 1 tsp
  • Salt- as per taste

Here’s The Step-By-Step Recipe 

After gathering all the ingredients, you just have to follow these simple steps to make the dosa batter:

  • Soak moong dal, chana dal and samak rice together in water for 30 minutes.
  • Rinse properly and blend it with boiled potatoes, green chillies, curry leaves, hing, ajwain and salt.
  • Add enough water until the paste gets a flowing, batter-like consistency.
  • Heat the tawa, drizzle some oil and pour a ladle of the batter. Spread it evenly and cook well on both sides.
