On the latest episode of Sunday Brunch with Kamiya Jani, Jasmin welcomed Kamiya into her home for a day involving sweet potato chaat, a Middle Eastern food trail and a rather dangerous amount of wardrobe envy. Because once the conversation moved from food to fashion, Jasmin Bhasin’s closet became the main character.
Jasmin Bhasin Calls Herself An Impulsive Shopper
Jasmin Bhasin has a confession to make; she is an impulsive shopper. The problem is, after seeing her closet, that confession feels less like a revelation and more like a perfectly reasonable explanation. And yes, the bags deserved their own episode.
Anyone who has followed Jasmin Bhasin for even a little while probably knows she loves handbags, particularly designer ones. Kamiya Jani, our Editor-in-Chief, got a closer look at the collection and asked Jasmin about her favourite. That is when one particular bag came with a very long history.
Jasmin Bhasin revealed that she bought the bag in Singapore in 2015. A decade later, it has clearly been through some things. The brand has stopped making its belt, which left Jasmin with a very problem; what do you do when your favourite bag outlives the accessory that came with it?
Jugaad, obviously!
Since the original belt was no longer available, Jasmin Bhasin found her own workaround and continued using the bag. It is a very Jasmin approach to luxury, really.

Aly Goni’s Wardrobe Is Apparently Even Bigger
Then came the closet. It is huge. Not “I have a few extra shelves” huge. We are talking about an entire wardrobe ecosystem. Jasmin has different sections for different kinds of clothing, including long dresses, short dresses, kurtas and Indian wear. There is also a separate section for her gym wardrobe.
And suddenly, her “impulsive shopper” admission starts making a lot more sense. But the real surprise arrived when Jasmin Bhasin started talking about Aly Goni’s wardrobe. According to her, Aly’s wardrobe is even bigger than hers.
Somewhere between the designer bags and carefully divided clothing sections, Aly has apparently managed to out-wardrobe the woman who openly admits to impulsive shopping. Fair enough!
And then came another little relationship revelation: Aly takes longer than Jasmin to get ready. Jasmin Bhasin said that while she can be ready in around 20 minutes, Aly takes about 45 minutes.
The closet tour shows Jasmin’s fashion world in detail, but the contrast comes from how her 20-minute routine stacks up against Aly’s 45-minute getting-ready ritual, despite his even larger wardrobe.
