Mickey & Minnie Add To The Festive Cheer

What’s a Disney celebration without Mickey and Minnie? The iconic duo has also been part of the Diwali Dance Fest celebrations, adding a familiar Disney touch to the cultural festivities. The event brings together Indian dance, music and traditions in a setting where visitors can experience a different side of the Disney magic.

The festival has grown considerably since its first edition in 2023, when more than 400 young dancers participated. The 2026 edition featured over 500 performers from 25 studios, making it another major platform for the South Asian dance community to showcase its talent.

For the Indian diaspora, the event is also an opportunity to celebrate cultural heritage on an international stage and introduce more people to the music, dance and traditions associated with Diwali.
