Indian artist Mitali Salunke (@salunkemitali) is known for her creativity. Her social media is filled with beautiful drawings, and she also specialises in live wedding paintings. However, her latest video has sparked a debate online. In the video, she was sitting in a window seat on an airplane and appeared to paint Lord Ganesha on the window.
Sharing the video, she wrote, “Found a new canvas while travelling.” The clip starts with her drawing the outline of Lord Ganesha on what appears to be the airplane window. She then adds colours to the artwork and completes the portrait of Bappa. The video soon caught the attention of social media users.

Video Sparks Debate Online
As the video of the Indian artist painting on an airplane window went viral, many people raised questions, sparking a debate online.
One user commented, “A woman painter stuck a transparent sticker on an airplane window, then painted Lord Ganesha on it for a video just for views. Painting on plane windows isn’t allowed. And picking a Hindu god for content clicks? That’s not creativity; that’s just a lack of civic sense.”
“Which airline was this? Even if she had put a transparent sticker, is this allowed?” another comment read.
Another user added, “She should be on the no-fly list. Absolute idiot. What were the flight attendants doing during this?”
One user defended the artist, saying that the Indian artist drew the painting on a transparent sheet.
