In such conditions, it’s best to check the forecast before stepping out. Here’s an update on how the weather across Indian cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, and more is expected to look.

Indian Cities Facing Extreme Weather Conditions

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heatwave and humidity alerts for several parts of the country. According to its latest update, many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Odisha have recorded extreme temperatures. In some places, the mercury has touched or even crossed 44°C.

Maharashtra is among the worst-hit states. As per Zee News, the highest temperature in the country was recorded in Akola at 44.2°C. Mumbai and nearby coastal areas are not just hot, but very humid right now. Even though sea winds are offering some relief, the moisture in the air has increased. Because of this, IMD has issued a yellow alert for places like Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg.
