This year, the weather across India has been quite unpredictable. In some cities, there were days of intense heat that made it difficult to step out, only to be followed by hailstorms just a few days later. In other areas, humidity continues along with the heat. So, to avoid unexpected surprises, it’s better to stay updated on the weather in cities like Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and more.

Current Weather Conditions In Delhi

According to IMD, Delhi residents are likely to see light rain and gusty winds on Monday and Tuesday. As per The Economic Times, for Monday, a yellow alert has been issued for Monday, with wind speeds expected to reach up to 70 km/h. On Tuesday, no alert has been issued, but light rain and winds of up to 40 km/h are expected.

In Delhi, the maximum temperature is expected to stay between 32–34°C on Monday and 31–33°C on Tuesday due to clouds and rain. From Wednesday, the temperature may rise and could reach around 40°C by May 9.

How’s The Weather In Other Indian Cities

As per IMD, several districts across Maharashtra are under yellow and orange alerts for May 4. Why? According to Oneindia, there are possibliliy of thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds of 50–60 km/h with rain. In Konkan, including Mumbai, hot and humid weather will continue. Some areas may stay dry but very hot, while others could see storms.

Hyderabad will see a maximum temperature of around 41°C. The minimum temperature may stay close to 28°C. In the city, mornings will be warm with the sun getting stronger. By afternoon, the weather may turn very hot and dry, increasing the chances of discomfort.

Bengaluru to see thunderstorms with rain and lightning. In this city, temperatures may range between 23°C and 35°C, with humidity between 50% and 70%. In Thiruvananthapuram, the sky may stay partly cloudy with some rain or thundershowers. Temperatures could range from 26°C to 36°C with high humidity. In Chennai, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy with chances of moderate rain or thunderstorms.
