Godawan Artisanal Single Malt Whisky Wins Three Awards
At the award show, Godawan Single Malt Whisky 01 – Rich & Rounded earned Triple Gold with a score of 92.8. The Godawan Single Malt Whisky 02 – Fruit & Spice also received Triple Gold, scoring 90.1. The limited-edition Godawan 173 The Collector’s Edition completed the hat-trick with Triple Gold and a score of 91, marking a historic achievement for Indian whisky.
Godawan 173 is a special whisky. It is aged for over nine years in ex-bourbon American oak, European Oloroso, and PX Sherry casks, and then finished in heritage Asha liqueur casks with 42 ingredients, giving it a unique and rich flavour. Only 173 bottles were made, each honouring the Great Indian Bustard, a critically endangered bird whose population has reached 173.
