The fresh snowfall at Kedarnath Temple made the dham look magical, but it also led to a drop in temperatures in the region. However, the snowfall did not stop Lord Shiva’s devotees from queuing up and praying at the temple. An X user, @ILoveSiliguri, posted a video showing the snowfall at the site.
Videos and images are going viral on social media, showing devotees wearing raincoats and carrying umbrellas while they stand outside the temple, with fresh snow falling on them. According to Hindustan Times, the district administration has now urged devotees to take utmost precautions against the cold. They have also been advised to follow the safety guidelines issued by the administration and police amid the changing weather.
Pilgrims visiting the Kedarnath Temple should also wear adequate warm clothing and remain alert to stay safe and avoid unnecessary problems.
