One of my personal favourites is Theobroma, and guess what? Kolkata is getting not one, not two, but three outlets. Scroll down to know when they are opening.
Theobroma Is Coming To Kolkata!
Kolkata sweet lovers, get excited because everyone’s favourite Theobroma is coming to your city. The first two outlets are opening on October 30, Friday. These stores are located in Salt Lake and New Alipore. Soon, Kolkata will have third store too at Garia in November but the date for that store opening is not yet announced.

- Theobroma New Alipore: Block E, 64-B, Block D, New Alipore, Kolkata
- Theobroma Garia– Shop No. 3, Block A, Ground Floor, Premises No. 402, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road, Ward No. 100, Garia, Kolkata
These Kolkata outlets will offer offer dine-in, takeaway and delivery services.
What’s On The Menu?
At Theobroma in Kolkata, the desserts lovers can dig in cakes, pastries, brownies, cookies, and beverages. In brownies you can’t miss out on its signature Overload and Millionaire brownies. The menu also includes fan’s favourite Dutch Truffle and Tiramisu. For something savoury, you can also enjoy sandwiches.
For festive season or to surprise your loved ones you can also shop for gift boxes and hampers at the stores or order them for delivery.

Why Is The Bakery Expanding To Kolkata?
Theobroma is making Kolkata debut after many requests from the residents. Earlier, when the videos of the shop construction went viral online, many users expressed their excitement.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rishi Gour, CEO, Theobroma, said: “Kolkata has been asking for Theobroma for a while, and we didn’t want to arrive with anything less than our best. This is a city that takes its sweets seriously and doesn’t wait for a big occasion to enjoy them. Whether it’s a brownie after a long day or a cake for the family, we want to be part of the moments people here make for themselves and for each other. Salt Lake and New Alipore are the start of our story in Eastern India.”
