On September 17, 2026, Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena inaugurated the world’s highest-altitude and India’s largest twin flower fields in Leh. According to The Times of India, the twin fields are located at an altitude of 10,600 feet and are spread across 40 acres at Choglamsar and Stakna.

Opening Date, Entry Cost & More
Now, let’s talk about the ticket cost if you ever want to see the world’s highest-altitude twin flower fields. According to The Times of India, the gardens opened to the public on September 18, 2026. Adults will have to pay ₹25, while the entry fee for children is ₹10.
You would be surprised to know that the Choglamsar field was developed in just two months. Plantation began on July 16, and the first blooms started appearing in the first week of September. At Stakna, nearly 14 lakh Lilium plants were planted in August. Its first blooms are expected by the end of October. The flower park also has another purpose. It will serve as a place to cultivate Lilium, Gladiolus, Tulips and other ornamental flowers for national and international markets.
