Curly Tales fam! We know you’ve been waiting for another Sunday Brunch episode, and guess what? It’s already live on our channel! For the latest episode, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met gorgeous actresses Radhika Apte and Keerthy Suresh. Over a delicious meal, the trio had a lovely conversation. Radhika Apte also opened up about toxic work culture, and here’s what she thinks!

Radhika Apte Shares Her View On Work Culture

In the Sunday Brunch episode, Kamiya Jani asked Radhika Apte if marriage comes in the way of a woman’s career. Responding to this, Radhika Apte said that a career has nothing to do with marriage or having a child. Even if she is single, she would still like to keep things balanced. She can have a life while being single and pursuing her career. The actress believes that even if she is working, the other person does not own her time.

She does not want to pick up work calls at 11:30 PM. Radhika Apte believes that a person cannot call her to discuss work at 11:30 PM or on a weekend and expect her to answer. However, she also fears that if she avoids a producer’s call, she might not get future projects. Radhika Apte is now learning to stop taking work calls at inappropriate times.

How Actress Celebrates Diwali?

In her childhood, Radhika Apte used to celebrate Diwali by making rangolis, building forts, and cooking snacks like chakli and sweets with her grandmother. They also used to make Akash Kandil from scratch. For her, Diwali has always been a time when families come together and enjoy their time.

As for Keerthy Suresh, her family celebrates Diwali by first taking an oil bath and then eating lehyam. This is a practice followed in many South Indian families. The actress also said that lehyam is absolutely delicious. She does not understand why they have to eat it only on Diwali, as she would happily enjoy it anytime because of how delicious it tastes.
