Instagram user Riyah (@laraeaffair) took to her handle to share how she felt when she first shifted to Bengaluru. She mentioned that at first she “hated” the city, and not because of traffic, littering, or anything like that, but because she had no friends, no sense of belonging, and nothing around her felt familiar. These challenges made it difficult for her to connect with the city in the beginning.

But recently, things have changed. Bengaluru has slowly grown on her. In the video, she said the city has become such an important part of her life that the thought of moving elsewhere no longer feels right. Interestingly, she revealed that she still does not have a large social circle in Bengaluru, and only has one or two friends there whom she rarely meets.
