Ever since the pandemic ended, the travel industry has flourished way more than ever. A report by Airbnb reveals the latest trends in travel in the past year. One of the biggest takeaways from the report is that Airbnb bookings in the first financial quarter of the year by Indians have almost doubled compared to last year’s. The report revealed many other interesting trends which have been displayed by Indians as well as people from abroad travelling to India.

This particular report revealed interesting insights about the way Indians have travelled in the last year. According to the report, the travel trends of the past year reveal that the most preferred destinations for Indians have been places like the United Kingdom or the UK, the United States of America or the US, Europe, and more.

Many people have also been travelling domestically. The most popular travel destinations within the country for the summer have been places like Puri, Goa, Chennai, Dehradun, Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Munnar, and Nainital.

The report also mentions that the popular summer destinations internationally are places like Singapore, Bali, Lisbon, Lucerne, Split, Vienna, Rome, Paris, Prague, and Bangkok. This means that even though the pandemic significantly impaired the travelling industry, it is still recovering and will continue to do so.
