Transit Schengen Visa Must For Indian Citizens Transitting In EU
Citizens of India who wish to travel to the United Kingdom through European Union flights like Lufthansa, KLM and Air France by having transits in Amsterdam, Paris, Munich and Frankfurt will now need to have Transit Schengen Visas for the same. If they don’t have a Schengen visa for transit in the UK they won’t be permitted to board the flight at the origin airport in India itself.

Transit Visa Not Required In Switzerland
Meanwhile, Switzerland isn’t a member of the European Union so it’s exempted from this rule. So, Indian citizens who have a transit in Switzerland will not be required to have a transit visa in advance. Citizens in India can pass through Swiss and Gulf territories without transit visas. Earlier, India and Switzerland tightened their connections by launching an air bubble agreement that permitted both countries to operate flights between Switzerland and India.
